Sterilex® has been awarded $300,000 by USDA National Research Initiative (NRI)
Sterilex® has been awarded $300,000 by USDA National Research Initiative (NRI) Competitive Grants Program for a three year study to optimize a product to effectively control biofilms containing Listeria monocytogenes in meat and poultry processing environments. In collaboration with Dr. Judy Arnold of USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), this research will provide a cost effective means of combating pathogen contamination, thereby providing safer food to the public and improving the global marketability of U.S. poultry and meat products.
