March 22, 2022, Día Mundial del Agua, marks the beginning of Sterilex’s partnership with Sobrecarga de agua, a nonprofit organization that invests in communities by providing safe water, sanitation and hygiene solutions to help end the cycle of poverty. The goal of this partnership is to raise awareness of the global water crisis that negatively impacts 2.2 billion people. A related local activity to benefit our Baltimore community is in the works for later this year.

At the beginning of 2022, Surge launched the Companies That Give Back campaign in partnership with companies across the US and UAE. Through local partnerships, impactful solutions and sustainable design, Surge for Water’s solutions have impacted more than 1,000,000 people in 12 countries.

Shilpa Alva, Founder and Executive Director shared, “We’re grateful to all 30 partners for giving back to global communities and raising awareness of the global water crisis. These partnerships will fund critical work in the field and encourage other supporters to become more involved with Surge’s mission.
