Both biofilm removal and biofilm kill are EPA-regulated terms. The biofilm kill claim only refers to the control of bacteria within a biofilm. This claim only applies to the specific organisms on a product individual label. The biofilm removal claim applies to the removal of biofilm structure from hard surfaces.
