STERILEX, LLC UNIFIED PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy describes the data collection, storage and use practices of Sterilex LLC, including the collection, use and disclosure of information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate an individual person (“Personally Identifiable Information”), which data may be collected at www.sterilex.com and any subdomains or applications based thereon, or from any services such as mobile applications, that reference or refer to this privacy policy (“Services”). Personally Identifiable Information does not include any information that is available publicly unless a specific applicable law protects such information. By using this site, you consent to the data collection, processing and use as set forth in this privacy policy. If you do not so consent, you may not use any Services.

General statement. In general, we do not disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties for the purpose of marketing, and we limit third party access to or use of your Personally Identifiable Information solely to provide the Services.

  1. Information we collect; choices, data security
    1. Analytics Data
      Sterilex automatically captures anonymized data on visitors that use the Services. This data may include:

      • The identity of your internet service provider
      • The type of web browser or other device you are using
      • Your IP address
      • Your geo-location
      • The pages or other content visited while navigating the Services

      (hereafter “Automated Data”)

      Automated Data is used by data analytics programs solely for the purpose of improving the user experience and content provided on the Services.

    2. Personal Data
      Sterilex collects limited Personally Identifiable Information including name, title, phone numbers, email addresses and interactions with Sterilex personnel. This data is captured either via the submission of a form on the Services, or via direct interaction between Sterilex and the interested party at business and other events. This data is stored in a customer relationship management (CRM) software program.Sterilex uses Personally Identifiable Information to provide information and market to its customers and channel partners.  Except in the course of a sale of its entire business (see below) Sterilex will never sell Personally Identifiable Information to a third party, but Sterilex may share select Personally Identifiable Information with authorized distributors of Sterilex products for the sole purpose of following-up on customer inquiries.
    3. Cookies
      Sterilex Services use “cookies” — a small file containing a string of characters — that the device accessing the Service uses to recall information about your current or prior use of the Service. You can configure your browser to refuse to accept some or all cookies. However, many Services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled and no guaranty or warranty is provided as to the operability of the  Services if you configure your browser or computer/device in this manner. Sterilex uses the following cookie types:

      • Analytics Cookies

      These cookies allow web analytics services (Google Analytics) to recognize your browser or device and, for example, identify whether you have visited our website before, what you have previously viewed or clicked on, and how you found us. The information is anonymous and only used for statistical purposes, and it helps us to analyze patterns of user activity and to develop a better user experience.

      • Google Analytics Advertising Cookies

      Sterilex has implemented or plans to implement some of Google Analytics Advertising functionality. This functionality includes remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network impression reporting and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest reporting. Google uses cookies to enable these features. These cookies allow Sterilex and third-party vendors (Google) to provide targeted advertising campaigns to website visitors.

      Users can opt-out of Google Analytics cookies via the Google Tools page.

    4. Embedded and linked content from third parties.
      Sterilex may link to third-party content or embed third party information on its Services. Sterilex does not review and expresses no assurance of any kind in respect of the privacy practices of these third-party information providers. These third parties may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
    5. User communications.
      When you send us email or use other electronic services to communicate with us, which may include chat, telephone/VoIP, video, audio portions of screen share sessions, social media, text/SMS or other communications (“Electronic Communications”), we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, for proper internal business protection and to improve the Services.
    6. Links
      The Services and Electronic Communications may contain links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of the Services.
    7. Third-party API integration.
      We may offer the ability to integrate the Services with third-party provided services (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc).  These integrations may provide Services the right to access and use information you have provided on the third-party site through their application program interface (API).  We may also establish APIs that allow those third-party sites to access and use your personal data in the  Services.  Use of these integrations only takes place with your consent and opt-in.  While we are responsible to tell you what information our API may supply to those third parties, we are not responsible for, nor have we reviewed, the privacy, data security or data use policies of any of the third parties with whom the  Services may be integrated.
    8. Social Media links.

    9. Information we generate.
      Our system and Services may generate metadata (data that describes data), which may include de-identified demographic information, statistics, user usage information, and other similar information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual (“System and De-identified Data”).  System and De-identified Data is owned by Sterilex and is not subject to this Privacy Policy and may be used in any manner that is not in direct violation of applicable law.
    10. Choices for Personally Identifiable Information
      When you sign up for a particular Service that requires registration, we ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information. We will not use your Personally Identifiable Information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, without your prior consent.  Your prior consent may be obtained by giving you notice of how we will use such information and asking you to check a box (or uncheck a box) or manually press a button, or any other means that reasonably indicates you consented to such use.
    11. Information security
      We use basic technical processes to configure our systems so that only persons authorized to access and use Personally Identifiable Information are permitted to do so; however, we advise you that no process or method can ensure that Personally Identifiable Information will not be compromised, and we will not be liable for any unauthorized access to, or use of, your Personally Identifiable Information unless it is proven that we violated specific applicable law in securing such Personally Identifiable Information.
  2. Sharing Your Data
    1. Authorized Distributors of Sterilex Products
      Sterilex sells products to end-users via channel partners.  Personally Identifiable Information of intended end-users of Sterilex products that is submitted to Sterilex via its Services, or obtained in the course of business interaction with Sterilex, may be shared with Sterilex’s authorized distribution partners for the purpose of following-up on commercial inquiries.
    2. Other
      If Sterilex engages in a sale of its business, merger, or other change of control, which may be with part or all of its business, Sterilex will transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to the successor/acquirer, without notice to you, and you pre-consent to such transfer.  Except in the cases described in 2.a. above, in the preceding sentence, or for Sterilex to comply with legal obligations (such as to comply with a court order or subpoena), under no other circumstances will Sterilex share, sell or rent Personally Identifiable Information for any other purpose.
  1. Retaining Your Data

Sterilex retains Personally Identifiable Information collected regarding its end-users and channel partners indefinitely within its CRM system (but see below under Section 4.a regarding our right to destroy this data).  This data is retained solely for the purposes of managing interaction between Sterilex, its channel partners and end-users of Sterilex products.

Cookie data is retained only until users of Sterilex web properties clear their cache, or for a defined period set in the cookie itself.

  1. Miscellaneous
    1. Service suspension; data retention and destruction.
      If you breach our Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, any Acceptable Use Policy we may establish, or any other agreement with us, or otherwise engage in acts we in good faith determine to be in violation of applicable law, rules, regulations or orders, or that we feel harm the Services, other users or third parties, we reserve the right to suspend your access to the Services without prior notice.  We may, but shall not be obligated (unless required expressly by applicable law), to give you notice of the basis for the suspension, and an opportunity to cure, or we may later determine to permanently terminate your access to the  Services. Upon termination of  Services, we may delete your Personally Identifiable Information or we may retain it if we determine that such retention is required by applicable law or for our internal business protection.  Unless we have specifically agreed in a signed writing with you to maintain backups for you we shall not be liable to you for any data we delete or destroy and it is your obligation to maintain a backup of all data stored in the Services. Notwithstanding that we may delete your Personally Identifiable Information, it may still be retained in backup storage until such data is overwritten.   We do not manually purge backup storage.
    2. Changes to this Privacy Policy
      This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the  Services, or by other electronic communication to you.  Use of the  Services after we have amended the Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement to the revised Privacy Policy.  If you disagree with the amended Privacy Policy, you may terminate use of the  Services, in which case the amended Privacy Policy shall not apply to your use of the  Services prior to such termination.
    3. Children’s Online Privacy Protection
      Our Services are not directed at children under 13 nor do we intend to collect any Personally Identifiable Information from children under 13.
    4. Communications Decency Act Notice.
      We hereby notify you that parental control protections (such as computer hardware, software, or filtering services) are commercially available that may assist you in limiting access to material that is not suitable to minors. you can discover some of the providers of such parental control technology by searching for “parental control software” using a major search engine, or by visiting https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0031-protecting-your-childs-privacy-online.
    5. Rights Under Other Laws
      You may have additional rights under state law to access certain information; for example, California residents may have rights under California Code Section 1798.83.  To the extent these laws are applicable to us and your Personally Identifiable Information, we will comply with such laws.
