How often should I apply ViveStep
Most facilities re-apply daily but depending on the amount of foot traffic through an area this amount can vary. Some facilities may need to reapply ViveStep up to once per shift to ensure all footwear is properly covered.
Is FortiGuard slippery?
FortiGuard is considered “slip resistant” when applied to floor surfaces found in warehouses, hatcheries, processing plants and barns. Its texture allows for complete coverage of surfaces (boot, floors, tires, wheels, etc.) to ensure proper contact time.
Do I need to mix FortiGuard with water?
No, you do not need to mix FortiGuard with water.
Is FortiGuard harsh to use?
FortiGuard’s lack of odor and low dust profile provide a better user experience when compared to powdered bleach. FortiGuard does not contain bleach and will not corrode electrical cabinets or nearby equipment in the ante room, offices or surrounding areas.
How do I verify FortiGuard is working?
The Sterilex Test Strip Kit can be used to quickly test and verify proper levels of active ingredients are still available for pathogen control. The kit is a useful tool for internal compliance teams and veterinarians.
How often should I replace FortiGuard?
With proper management active ingredients can remain stable for up to 8 weeks. Replenish as product is tracked out of the foot pan to ensure complete coverage. Replace product only if foot pan becomes flooded. We recommend maintaining at least ½ inch of powder in a foot pan.
What does it mean to be an EPA-Registered product?
Products must be EPA registered if they claim or imply efficacy against pathogens. EPA-registered products are proven to kill bacteria and inactivate viruses listed on the label and can be trusted to perform if used according to the label.
