Sterilex Ultra CIP

Sterilex Ultra CIP is specifically designed for low to medium agitation Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems to enhance sanitation and kill resistant pathogens and spoilage microorganisms. This EPA-registered disinfectant actively kills harmful organisms such as Listeria, Salmonella, E. coli, and spoilage organisms like Zygosaccharomyces parabailii within CIP systems. To activate the solution, mix Sterilex Ultra CIP with either Sterilex Ultra Activator Solution or Sterilex Ultra Soft Metal at the time of use, forming a powerful two-part liquid concentrate.

The Science

Formulated with patented PerQuat® Technology, Sterilex Ultra CIP has been enhanced with a defoaming agent to optimize performance in CIP systems. PerQuat-based disinfectants are uniquely effective at eliminating biofilms in hard-to-reach harborage areas and removing spoilage organisms from CIP systems—contributing to extended product shelf life. In a study evaluating its use in a poultry brine injector line sanitation program, Sterilex Ultra CIP was shown to increase the shelf life of raw, dark poultry meat by at least five days.

Sterilex Ultra CIP and Sterilex Ultra Activator Solution can be used in most low-medium agitation CIP systems without extensive spray balls. Sterilex Ultra CIP will still foam at agitation points and needs defoaming action to take place prior to circulation to prevent pump cavitation.

No, Sterilex Ultra CIP is not compatible with membrane technology.
